Outstanding Surgical Mission in
San Pedro Sula, Honduras
Dr. John Vorhies, Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Attending Surgeon at the Lucile Salter Packard Children's Hospital, and a team of 28 strong including Clinical Assistant Professor and Attending - Kali Tileston, MD, Clinical Instructor - Molly Meadows, MD, and Orthopaedic Surgery Chief Resident - Kimberly Hall, MD, ventured to San Pedro Sula, Honduras for a week on a surgical mission, and were successful in completing an amazing 29 operations in 4 days. Dr. Vorhies and the team worked with a local Orthopaedic Surgeon, Jose Rodriguez, MD, who will continue to follow the patients during their surgical journey and recovery.
